Interoperability Testing by an Interoperability Testing Center (IOC)

Interoperability testing is a mandatory part of the Qi product certification procedure. During the interoperability test, a new product is tested for compatibility with a large number of previously certified products. The goal of this procedure is to make sure that products that enter the market work well with all other products. The compliance tests performed by an Authorized Test Lab (ATL) are not sufficient to guarantee interoperability.
