Qi2 25W – The First Standard to Enable Truly High-Speed Qi Certified Wireless Charging
Building on the success of its Qi standard, WPC announced the Qi2 standard in late 2023. Qi2 was a leap forward in speed, energy efficiency, and convenience. The market responded enthusiastically and within its first year Qi2 was already enabled on over 1.5 billion wireless devices across the globe.
And now, Qi2 has taken another leap forward with the introduction of the Qi2 25W standard for even faster, more energy efficient charging. Delivering nearly 70% more charging power than the original Qi2, Qi2 25W can wirelessly charge a fully depleted smartphone battery to 50% charge in about 30 minutes.
