Delivering a Safe and Reliable Experience

Beware of low quality and fake charging products that are potentially unsafe

Increased consumer adoption and market growth for wireless charging products has led to the introduction of many low quality and fake charging products that are potentially unsafe.  Now more than ever there is need for full and rigorous testing to ensure the safety and reliability of wireless charging products. .

The WPC addresses this challenge with a global certification program for wireless charging products built to the Qi standard. Qi Certified products have passed a series of tests related to safety, energy efficiency, interoperability and usability

Beware of misleading claims and terms that do not signify if product has earned Qi Certification:

“Qi Compliant”

“Qi Compatible”

“Qi Standard”

“Qi Enabled"

“Works with Qi”

Look for the Qi logo

Only products that have successfully passed a series of independent lab tests can use the Qi logo and are considered Qi Certified. Refusal to print the Qi logo on product packaging could be a sign the product is not certified, as only Qi Certified products can legally use the Qi logo.
