IFA 2018: What’s New
Wireless charging had a hot moment this year at IFA 2018, one of the leading tradeshows for the global technology industry. As expected, announcements rolled out throughout the week of the show across a variety of segments – smartphones, TVs, home appliances and audio. Many of the announcements featured Qi, underscoring the demand from consumers for this convenience feature and furthering the continued growth of wireless charging.

ZENS introduced a top-of-the line wireless charging range at IFA 2018. This new series of chargers is Qi certified and featured three designs: a Dual + Watch Charger, a Dual Charger and a Single Charger.
Other notable announcements:
- Naztech announced a 1-million unit sales milestone for its MagBuddy wireless charge magnetic mount system.
- Mophie also unveiled four new wireless charging products: the Charge Stream Vent Mount, the Charge Stream Desk Stand, the Charge Stream Powerstation Wireless and the Charge Stream Powerstation Wireless XL.
- ASUS introduced the Zen AiO 27, which features Qi certified wireless charging built into its base for fast charging of mobile devices.
