July 13, 2010 - start of medium power standardization

The finalization of the low power (5 Watt) specification gives us room to start work on extending the Qi standard to medium power.  The medium power specification will cover power transfer up to 120 Watt.

For the work on medium power we will increase the maximum number of regular members to 18 (the maximum is currently 10). We invite parties interested in regular membership to contact us.
