LG sells 500,000 Qi phones in just 70 days
LG's Optimus LTE2 smartphone has an embedded Qi receiver. They sold 500,000 units in just 70 days, making it the company’s fastest selling mobile phone to date.
This achievement illustrates that embedding Qi wireless charging capability is the way to go. In Japan Qi is already a standard feature in new smartphones models. Korea is now the second country with a significant installed base of Qi phones.
