Want to become a member?

The consortium is a co-operation of companies that want to make sure that their products can be charged on each other’s chargers. The consortium creates a technical specification that, when finished, will be also be made available to other companies.

At this moment the draft specification is available only for members. We have two types of membership: ‘regular’ and ‘associate’.

Associate membership will provide you early access to draft versions of the specification, the opportunity to influence the development of the specification by commenting on these draft specs, and the possibility to participate in interoperability testing of prototypes. The annual membership fee is Euro 10,000.-.

Regular members are expected to make significantly higher investments of their own resources in terms of travel, participation in meetings, and in participation in prototyping and interoperability testing. At this moment we are not accepting new applications for regular members.

The Wireless Power Consortium has completed the draft of its standard specification and started to review the standard with the associate members.
