Setting the international standard for interoperable wireless charging
The sign of interoperability

What Is the Wireless Power Consortium?

The Wireless Power Consortium is an association of independent companies. The association is governed by a Consortium Charter that defines rules for confidentiality, intellectual property and decision making,

The association is managed by the members. All regular member have one vote in our meetings.

The members of the Wireless Power Consortium cooperate to make it possible that their mobile phones can charge wirelessly on each other's chargers. Proprietary and incompatible chargers are a waste. Consumers get the most from wireless charging when their phone can charge everywhere. That is our dream. An open standard, free for all to download, easy to implement with broad support from the entire industry.

The standard: Qi

The wireless power standard is called 'Qi' (pronounced "chee"). All products that implement Qi work together seamlessly, independent of manufacturer or brand.

Our members

The wireless power consortium has more than 100 members, from IC-manufacturers to mobile phone makers and mobile telecom operators.

Qi Products

All products that carry the Qi logo must be certified by an independent test lab. You can find the certfied products in our Certified Products Database.

Here you can see Qi phones, Qi chargers, Qi docking stations, Qi sleeves and even Qi furniture.
